Since 1976, Mr. Schnackel has been involved in all aspects of Lighting Design as president of Light Plan Design, Inc. His projects are varied, from unique, High-End Retail and Restaurant design, to that of Educational Institutions, Medical Facilities, Malls, High-Rise Residential, Galleries, and Mixed-Use Developments. His wealth of experience in many project types in hundreds of municipalities, helps to enhance Light Plan Design’s ability to coordinate lighting design with any project design team.

Light Plan Design was created as a result of his attention to the aesthetic nature of architecture and architectural lighting design, and specifically because of the success of the projects of which he has been a part. Some of the signature projects that he has been involved in include Blue Sushi, Shrager Art Gallery, and Roja, all located in Omaha, Nebraska.
